Bamboo YogaPlay, located in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica, on the
pacific coast lies three hours south of San Jose and two hours from
the Osa Peninsula. In the heart of a cute little beach town, with
river front property and lush mountains surrounding, we are
conveniently situated minutes from local accommodations, amenities and
the beach. Dominical and surrounding areas claim world-class for
surfing, rain forest zip-line tours, waterfalls, snorkeling and scuba-
diving.
We offer a sanctuary for the arts. Our unique and exquisite studio
sits atop of our eco-friendly home made from recycled shipping
containers with views of the ocean, river and jungle. Practice in our
gorgeous, open air, netted 1200 sq foot studio, with high ceilings and
elegant Bamboo floors. Our high standing roof reaches 14 ft, inviting
plenty of natural light and fresh airflow to enter the space, as
birds, butterflies and iguanas play outside the netting. A state of
the art sound system, wall of mirrors, an Om Gym and Yoga Props,
including blankets and bolsters, compliment the experience. The
ultimate indoor-outdoor environment where one can experience nature
whilst exploring ones own inner landscape.
Bamboo YogaPlay offers two different types of accommodations, with air
conditioning and without. Our 3 rooms are made out of recycled
shipping container units representing the full Eco Experience. There
are 2 rooms with A.C. and a queen size orthopedic mattress and one
petite room with a fan, mosquito net and a single orthopedic bed for
the simple traveler. There is a communal kitchen with everything you
might need and an outdoor living area that is shared amongst the
guests. The shower is outside for your full Jungle experience.
We have created a little haven in the middle of town only 2 minutes
walk to the Ocean. Our rooms are set off the road behind our yoga
studio with a view of the lush greenery. There is a rustic walkway to
the river where you can enjoy the surroundings in a hammock or lounge
chairs. Enjoy the many different birds, and bask in the serenity of
the Baru River. This is the perfect location for anyone who wants to
indulge in a relaxing, tranquil vacation with beautiful scenery all
around. Everything is within walking distance in Dominical, no car
needed.
